FEATURES
Our Range of high quality, rugged low-pressure gas discharge lamps primarily for use in Photoionization Detectors (PID). The lamps are suitable for most existing requirements in two sizes.
Both lamps are available with Krypton or Argon gas fill which in combination
with Magnesium Fluoride or Lithium Fluoride windows, produce intense spectral
lines in the region 105-130nm. Following initiation from 1500V charge between
the anode and the cathode, the gas Fluoride discharge is confined to a
precision capillary of a diameter of 1.5mm within the lamp \and excites
the natural resonance frequencies of the gas. Through the unique sealing
and high temperature processing regimes, the lamps have exceptionally high
energy. With precise electrode alignment ensures exceptionally high stability.
APPLICATIONS.
The application of the Photoionization Detector lamps include:
- Gas Chromatography
- Trace Gas Monitoring
- Portable Gas Analysis
- Mass Spectrometry Sample Ionization
Final testing of every lamp in an appropriate analytical instrument ensures the continuing optimal quality demanded by our clients worldwide.
Vitro Technology, Ltd. USA is pleased to introduce our Photoionization Lamps. Our extensive range of DC and RF excited lamps are filled with a variety
of gasses and available with quartz, sapphire, magnesium fluoride and lithium
fluoride windows.
The natural resonance frequency of the gas is excited, producing spectral
emission lines in the 112nm to 250nm range. When combined with the appropriate
window ionizing energies in the 11.6 to 4.9 eV range are available.
Our unique sealing technologies permitting high temperature processing
gives a lamp of exceptionally high stability and output.
