Deuterium Lamps

Deuterium Lamp

Deuterium (D2) HPLC Detector Lamps

Deuterium Lamp Selection for your HPLC needs

With more than 700 deuterium lamps for equipment by Agilent Technologies to Waters we have the lamp for your analytical instrumentation.  All lamps have a guaranteed life span of 1,000 to 2,000 hours. Deuterium lamps are sources of high intensity ultraviolet radiation down to 160 nm (for some models). Using the latest material and process technologies, Heraeus Noblelight new lamps combine lifetime more than 2,000 hours with unmatched output stability and intensity over their entire life. This sets them apart from other long-life lamps on the market and makes them the ideal choice for high-end (U) HPLC instruments or UV-Vis spectrophotometer. Visible and infrared emission is negligible. This makes deuterium lamps ideal sources for UV spectroscopy, and as UV spectral irradiance standards.

Our Deuterium Lamps

Heraeus D2 LampDeuterium lamps emit an almost continuous spectrum of light ranging from the main UV wavelengths of 160 – 400 nm to the visible spectral range (800 nm). This makes them the ideal light source for high precision absorption measurements, e.g. in HPLC. A wide range of deuterium lamps with quartz or UV-glass envelopes, shine-through lamps and different sorts of special lamps.
